Asad is a fresh Electrical Engineering graduate with a sharp focus on power systems, solar energy, and industrial automation, and an appetite for taking that knowledge straight into the field. At MarkDev Solutions, he has designed and integrated SCADA systems from scratch for industrial clients including Prosperity, AGI Denim, and ZRK, building dynamic single-line diagrams that pull live status from smart devices to keep visibility and reliability high. He has also worked hands-on across commissioning sites such as AGI Denim’s Units 1 and 2, establishing communication between multiple smart devices, and is now developing HMI design skills on Deif and Weintek platforms to tie directly into live power systems. Alongside this work, Asad shares his expertise as an Instructor at Utech Digital Education.
His path into industry runs through a string of hands-on internships. At Advance Trans-ESS, he worked as a Quality Engineer, monitoring line equipment and documenting SOPs and KPIs for production quality. At Pearl Confectionery, he evaluated LT/HT distribution panels and industrial generators and analyzed automated control systems for heavy operations. Earlier still, at the RCAI Lab, NEDUET, he explored IoT and robotics — contributing to an indoor laser-tag game built around the ATmega328P, alongside work on electric vehicle development and 3D printer mechanical design.
Asad’s project work reflects the same range. He has engineered a 400V three-phase AC-to-DC industrial drive with closed-loop RPM control, built a computational framework to analyze transmission line performance across complex tower geometries, and programmed a MATLAB tool to compute fault currents in unbalanced power systems — validating it against ETAP for accuracy. He has also designed a complete electrical distribution system for a multi-story medical facility in AutoCAD and developed a coordinated protection scheme for a 13-bus ring-main network, complete with differential and time-overcurrent relay protection to IEC standards.
He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, backed by certifications in Arduino & IoT Programming, Industrial Automation, and an IoT MasterClass from NEDUET’s Smart City Lab. On the tools side, he’s equally fluent in hardware — Arduino, STM-32, ESP-32, and Delta and Siemens PLCs — and software, including MATLAB, ETAP, AutoCAD, and TIAPortal.
