Building a Multi-Brand Fashion Marketplace for Tajj Brands Collection on Shopify

About Tajj Brands Collection

Tajj Brands Collection is a contemporary clothing retailer known for trend-driven, affordably priced fashion, carrying unstitched and stitched lawn, formals, and festive wear from more than a dozen of Pakistan’s leading fashion labels – including Maria B., Zainab Chottani, Asim Jofa, Azure, Elan, Asifa & Nabeel, and Baroque alongside a dedicated jewelry line and seasonal collections timed to lawn, wedding, and festive seasons.

Selling across that many brands and collections at once is a structural challenge as much as a design one. Customers need to browse by brand, by collection, by season, and by category (clothing vs. jewelry) without the catalog collapsing into a confusing single feed – and the store needed to support both individual retail orders and bulk/wholesale inquiries from resellers, two very different buying behaviors on one platform.

MarkDev Solutions was engaged to design and build Tajj Brands Collection’s Shopify storefront from the ground up a catalog architecture and shopping experience built around how customers actually browse a multi-brand fashion retailer.

The Challenge

Tajj Brands Collection’s core value proposition access to Maria B., Zainab Chottani, Asim Jofa, Azure, Elan, and other major labels in one place – only works if customers can actually navigate that range. Without a structured brand and collection taxonomy, a catalog spanning a dozen-plus labels, multiple seasonal drops (summer lawn, wedding-festive, winter luxury), and a separate jewelry line risked becoming difficult to browse, pushing customers toward a single search box instead of the kind of guided discovery that drives fashion e-commerce conversion.

The business also needed to serve two distinct customer types from the same storefront: individual shoppers buying one or two suits at retail price, and resellers or boutique owners looking to place bulk orders. These have fundamentally different needs one wants fast checkout, the other wants a quotation-style inquiry process and conflating them into one generic “contact us” flow would have underserved both.

Finally, with frequent seasonal drops and limited-time sales (up to 50% off), the store needed a merchandising structure that could keep “New Arrivals,” “Best Sellers,” and “Sale” prominent and constantly refreshed without requiring a rebuild every season.

What did
Markdev Solutions do

MarkDev Solutions built Tajj Brands Collection on Shopify with a catalog architecture designed around how fashion shoppers actually browse a multi-brand store.

  • Brand-first navigation – a dedicated “Shop By Brands” structure covering Asim Jofa, Maryam’s, Azure, Asifa & Nabeel, Zebaish, ZUNUJ, and more, letting loyal customers of a specific label go straight to their favorite brand’s current collection.
  • Collection-based merchandising – named seasonal collections (Afsaneh Vol. 02 by Maryam’s, Azure Wedding Edit, Maria B. M. Prints Winter Edition, Elan Wedding Festive, Zainab Chottani Wedding Festive, Elaf Premium Luxury Winter) structured as distinct, shoppable landing pages rather than a single undifferentiated catalog.
  • Category separation for jewelry – a standalone Jewelry section (Necklaces, Earrings) split cleanly from clothing collections, supporting cross-category browsing without cluttering the apparel catalog.
  • Dual conversion paths – a standard Shopify checkout for retail customers, plus a separate Bulk Order inquiry form for wholesale and reseller buyers, so each customer type gets the buying experience suited to them.
  • Always-fresh merchandising modules – homepage sections for New Arrivals, Best Sellers, and Sale (up to 50% off) built to be updated each season without structural changes to the site.
  • WhatsApp-integrated customer support – a direct WhatsApp contact channel embedded in the site header, matching how Pakistani fashion shoppers commonly prefer to ask sizing and stock questions before buying.
  • Product-level detail – vendor labeling, regular vs. sale pricing, and stock-status indicators (including “Sold Out” states) surfaced directly in product listings so customers can browse and filter efficiently.
